Daily Drone – Office Move Complete!
Piranha has some new digs! Finally a permanent home for our studio after a few years of temporary spaces. Our new 14,000sqft digs are specially build out for our needs and include three main dev areas, a sweet movie theatre, huge boardroom, meeting rooms, a beautiful common area with lots of natural light and a public front entrance.
Phase 1 is done. Phase 2 begins as we deco the suite with custom built furniture and props a la steampunk style. We plan to have a public interactive display up and running in the fall.

The Daily Drone – Duke Nukem Forever Release Date Announced
The official release date is: May 3rd, 2011! We're very excited to be a part of making history here at Piranha Games! I can't wait for everyone to get into the action.
The Daily Drone – Hello 2011!
After some much needed rest and time with the family, I'm back at the grind stone. The elves have been busy posting! It's going to take me a few days to sort through all the new goodies. I'm also traveling a lot over the next 3 months, so news and posts will be a bit more sporadic. Happy New Year!
From the Lab – What defines a SIM?
I thought this topic might provoke some interesting dialogue. This does not need to be mech specific.
The Daily Drone – Drool
So I'm a bit of an Audi nut. I drive a modified B8 A4. Here's my drool moment.
The Daily Drone – New Blog Design
The old site design was great, the new one is better. I think... hehe The About page has some minor edits.
From the Lab – Skill, No Skill or Some Skill
Skill: Players rely on their physical and mental skills to defeat their opponents. They have very few "assists", and no in game attributes that enhance their abilities. (Quake 3)
No Skill: Players create an avatar, which in turn is customized via skill selection, attribute assignment, and other bonuses. (Any RPG)
Some Skill: Core player abilities (shooting, reacting, etc.) are not augmented, however there are "perks" and "assits" that help supporting abilities such as lock speed, reload speed, etc. (COD)
FIGHT! er... DEBATE! hehe.
